Aditi is a board certified Occupational Therapist and a board certified Hand Therapist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of Allied Health Sciences in Karnataka, India, in 2001. She came to the USA to attend graduate school at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and obtained a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy the following year. She accepted her first job in Durham, North Carolina, working at a skilled nursing facility. In an effort to gain more clinical expertise, she accepted an invitation in 2005 to work at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC). There she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating patients from all age spectrums with a variety of neurological, complex medical, and oncological conditions. While at RIC she obtained her certification in lymphedema therapy. From 2012-2014 she fulfilled the role of a program specialist for the Medically Complex floor. Family circumstances brought Aditi to New Hampshire in November 2014, where she worked for Choice PT, a private therapy practice, and split her time between an acute care setting at a critical access hospital and an outpatient orthopedic setting.
She relocated to Medford with her family in May 2017 to pursue a long-standing interest in hand therapy, and after working for the Providence Hand Clinic for a little over a year, she joined the SOO Hand Clinic full time in October 2018.
Aditi is passionate about hand therapy as she finds immense joy in helping her patients regain their independence and engage in life to the fullest. When not at work, Aditi likes to spend her time with family and friends. She enjoys travelling and cooking.
